MJ program to be decided go ahead or not within next year and a half

The 9th aircraft meeting of the aircraft space industry sectional committee under the initiative of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) was held on June 19 to discuss the current situation on the environmentally compatible high performance small jet aircraft program, which is so-called the MJ program, particularly focusing on market potentiality.

SNA suffered from largeincrease of net loss for FY2005

Skynet Asia Airways (SNA) released the FY2005 financial result on June 14, reporting that the airline posted net loss of 2,865 million yen, 109.5% more than FY2004, although it succeeded in increasing operatingrevenue by 21% to 14,426 million yen compared to FY2004 mainly because of the new flight business on Haneda-Nagasaki route.

Narita South Wing of the 1st PTB opens with Star Alliance together

Star Alliance celebrated open of new South Wing of the first passenger terminal building at Narita Airport on June 2 this year, joined by Star Alliance CEO Jaan Albrecht, ANA President and CEO Mineo Yamamoto, United Airlines President, Chairman and CEO Glenn Tilton and representatives from Air Canada, Asiana Airlines, Thai Airways International and Scandinavia Airlines.
