NAA does not specify particular goal for listing its stocks in its midterm plan

Narita International Airport Co. (NAA) released "New Stage 2010," a new midterm corporate plan from FY2006 to FY2010, on March 23, however it does not specify a particular goal for listing its stocks in the midterm plan. It just mentions "as soon as possible."
Under the midterm corporate plan, NAA aims at consolidated operating revenueof more than 200 billion yen, non-consolidated operating profit of more than 38 billion yen, non-consolidated free cash flow of more than 25 billion yen and capital adequacy ratio of over 22% for FY2010.

New Kitakyushu Airport opened, Star Flyer started flight business

New Kitakyushu Airport opened on March 16 with seat booking rate of around 50% for the first month. JAL Group still serves five return flights daily between the new airport and Haneda with larger aircraft thanthat for flights between old Kitakyushu Airport and Haneda. In addition, J-Air serves three return flights daily for Nagoya with CRJ200, and Japan Transocean Air serves one return flight daily for Nahawith B737. JAL Group offers about 2.1 times more seats at New Kitakyushu Airport than old Kitakyushu Airport.

ANA will welcome passengers with new services at Narita

ANA announced on March 1 to begin new services for its and Star Alliance members' passengers at NaritaAirport, when the South Wing of the first passenger terminal building opens on June 2 this year. The South Wing, about three times wider than before, will practically be the departure floor exclusive to Star Alliance under the concept of "Move under one roof."ANA, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the beginning of its international flight service, makes much of the project.

The JAL internal conflict forces CEO to leave his office

JAL announced at a news conference on March 1 that JAL Group CEO Toshiyuki Shinmachi will move to chairman without right of representation fromthe Group CEO, and instead Haruka Nishimatsu, senior vice presidentof JAL Corporation (the JAL Group holding company) and the two mainoperating companies of JAL International and JAL Domestic, will be promoted to new CEO. The change will officially be effective afterapproval of the annual general meeting of shareholders in late Junethis year. Shinmachi remains in his present post as CEO until the shareholders' meeting
