*Bombardier expects small jet will connect between Japan and Asia
Bombardier manager marketing & airlines analysis -international regonal aircraft Frank Polo said at an interview with the Wing Aviation Press that Bombardier expects airlines will begin using small jet aircraft on international routes between Japan and Asia. Even today, Korean carriers take advantage of small jet planes, such as Boeing 737, on the route between Korea and Japan. Large regional jet planes, such as CRJ700 (66-78 seats) and CRJ900 (86-90 seats), can offer almost the same seat mile cost as B737 does, Polo said.
