* The anti-Japan campaigns forced Narita to reduce int'l passengers for May
Narita International Airport Co. (NAA) reported on June 30 that the number of passengers for May this year slightly decreased by 0.1% to 2,439,896 over the same month last year, while the number of taking-offs and landings for May increased by 1% to 15,735 times over the samemonth last year. Narita handled 2,347,405 international flight passengers, out of which the number of Japanese was down 2% to 1,437,700, compared with a year ago.
