*Four times more international flight passengers used Haneda

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport recently reported that the number of international flight passengers at Haneda Airport for acalendar year of 2004 totaled 807,284, 3.9 times more than 203,522 of 2003. Out of the total, the number of foreign passengers largely expanded by 4.2 times to 310,167, compared with a year ago, primarily because more Korean passengers used charter flights between Haneda and Kimpo, the other airport of Seoul.
