*More short-haul international flight passengers during New Year holidays

The air traffic results during New Year holidays (December 25 2004 to January 6 2005), which were reported by each of Japanese airlines, find that they carried more passengers on short-haul international flightroutes but fewer passengers on long-haul international flight routes than a year ago because of shorter holiday period than a year ago. Domestic flight passengers slight decreased during the period as each airline reduced available seats.
