*Administrative Vice Minister intends to increase charter flights for Kimpo
Satoshi Iwamura, Administrative Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport revealed at a news conference on December 20 last year that he intends to increase Haneda-Kimpo (Seoul) charter flights from four daily today to eight daily around this summer. In the summit meeting between Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and Korean President Roh Moo-hyun in Kagoshima in December last year, President Roh requested to increase the charter flights to eight daily, and Prime Minister Koizumi showed his positive attitude to the request.
