*SNA tries to set its revival plan in the right direction next year

Skynet Asia Airways (SNA) President and CEO Masahiro Uchiike said at an interview with the Wing Aviation press that the airline tries to set its three-years revival plan in theright direction by July next year, when it begins offering a new flight service on Haneda-Nagasaki route. It has goals to increase sales to about 17 billion yen and recurring profit to 300 million yen for full year of FY2006, the last fiscal year of the revival plan.Although the airline is likely to have a deficit in this and next fiscal years because of additional expenses on preparation for a newflight service, it will roughly increase recurring profit of 600 million yen this fiscal year without the additional expenses.

*Boeing is confident of receiving 200 orders of 7E7within this year

R.Wade Cornelius, Vice-President Business Development&Global Strategy, Boeing Commercial Airplanes said at an exclusive interview with the Wing Aviation Press on December 7 that Boeing is confident of receiving 200 orders of 7E7 within this year, adding to 82 firm orders today. Boeing has received request for proposals for about 600 7E7s from more than 30 customers worldwide, according to Cornelius. Headded that the target may not be achieved within this year because of airlines' business circumstances, but it is not so big problem.

*ANA President is confident of making a profit on the international flight business

ANA President Yoji Ohashi emphasized at a news conference on December 2 thatANA will surly make a profit on the international flight business for FY2004, which is one of the absolute targets for ANA. Also, he said, "The new terminal of Haneda Airport, which opened on December 1, will be a opening for ANA to become NO.1 airline in Asia."
